GamesDay2003

This year's AC Cup 2003 was held in Siglap Secondary School on 22.3.2003. A total of 7 golds were at stake, namely, soccer, basketball, captain's ball, netball, badminton single female, badminton single male and badminton mixed doubles. Hai Sing NPCC achieved a wonderful result, clinching 3 golds (basketball, captain's ball and badminton mixed doubles) and 1 silver (soccer). This year's AC Cup was however, awarded to Siglap Sec NPCC as they won 3 golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze. Hence HSCNPCC failed to retain the AC Cup for the 3rd consecutive year and could only clinch 2nd overall spot, as Siglap has clinched 1 more bronze. Although we did not clinch the AC Cup, I felt that we have achieved a tremendous results just by getting the 3 golds and 1 silver, as our focus this year is slightly different. In addition, we did not field our best cadets in certain events too due to the NPCC Day Parade. Perhaps we will give other units a run for their money next year. Observation: HSCNPCC cadets gave their all in this competition and really showed their fighting spirit, which is tremendous. However, everyone failed to take a group photo towards the end as they were supposed to fall in again. In future please do seek the OC's approval before everyone is being dismissed, as the OC may have instructions for the cadets (I do have important things to say). Remember: Winning is not everything, but the will to win is. Our fighting spirit will never cease and we must aim to spread HSCNPCC namesake throughout, beyond this area. Well done again everyone!

CONGRATULATIONS FOR A JOB WELL DONE IN DEFENDING THE GAMES DAY 'AC CUP'! (7.9.2002). A surprise will be definitely our soccer team winning the GOLD and our netball clinching the BRONZE! We have defended the captain's ball GOLD and won SILVER in the basketball event. Our school also emerged 2nd for the cheering event! The teachers and CIs are very proud of everyone, the participants and their HSCNPCC supporters!
