This year's NPCC Passing Out Parade and Farewell Dinner was held on the 21st / 26th June 2003. The POP started at 12 pm, led by Vijay. The drill cane was symbolically handed over to the unit new Chairperson, S/SGT Shaun Heng.

The farewell dinner started at 5.00 pm. The food was delicious! Everything was beautifully done, although the preparation and planning was a bit messy but still a lot of efforts were seen! Everything went smoothly and well. The planners did a wonderful job, from welcoming, doing odd jobs, buying cakes, dinner, arranging chairs, cleaning up, etc. Well done, NCOs!
Thanks to all NCOs in-charge of the event. 2 thumbs up! We hope to make next year's one even better. Sec ones and twos were good in performance too!
This year's farwell also see the departure of 'BigBrother' CI Weiguang, 'Motherly' W/HO Ho Huilan and 'cousin' CI Ernest Tay Ming Hao. Kinda sad to see them leaving as they are very very close and dear to me. They have really set the foundation of HSCNPCC and the working tone of the CI-officers family. I really doubt a lot of units in Singapore works the way we do here. Our family is so spirited and lively, often going for supper, discussions, trips, shows together. I will really miss them very much. Special thanks to my 'cousin' for staying so faithfully with me for the past 5+ years. You really know what i wanted and what i am thinking (in regards to NPCC). Good luck and all the best.
Perhaps it will be difficult to find anther 'wg', 'ern' or 'hl' but then as what Jason said, 'everyone is different and there will always be others as good as them'. I really hope those cadets of HSCNPCC will develop themselves and become great leaders to take over their roles quickly.

To all passed out NCOs 2002/2003 batch, thanks a lot for all your contributions and efforts made, especially those 'all-faithful'. Without your batch 'fun' may not have existed in NPCC. Expectations were set high for your batch and because of that many scoldings were bestowed on you guys (by me and other officers). However i hope that you take all these in stride and know that it is a 'learning experience'.
Good luck for your examinations (O and N) and i certainly hope some of you will move on to CI role and make a difference to this unit!

Passing Our Parade is a symbolic gesture and event that is attended and witnessed by all in Full Uniform. It signifies the official handing over of all NPCC duties and stepping down after four years of NPCC in school. It symbolises the hardwork, perserverance and endurance of the cadets. It ends with the handing over of the NPCC baton or parade drill cane from one chairperson to the next chairperson, signifying the continuation of the unit in its search for glory.

Thanks!
