To parents and HAISIANS: Information about HSCNPCC.....

We welcome YOU!!

Our Training dates: Every Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm. There are other training dates on other days such as attachments, visits, shoots, etc. All sec 1s will be issued a set of uniform too. All sec 1s will also need to purchase from us 2 HSCNPCC T-shirts and a NPCC formation sign (about $25)

Our Training Regime: Compulsory items every saturday are the drills and physical fitness regimes. PT is to strengthen and condition every cadet's fitness ability, body and endurance. It is also to train you up for your NAFA test and for the boys, your NS. Drills are to incalcute discipline and the ability to listen to command, an essential part of Uniform Groups. Activities are pegged according to each level's and individual ability. However, it must be stressed that our training is going to be tough but it aids in the development of every cadet's physical and mental development.

Our Training Activities (Sat): Include Campcraft, First Aid, Games such as soccer, captain's ball and basketball, Beach Games, Sing-a-long, lectures, etc

Our Training Acitivites (Other dates): Camps, Hikings, Overseas Trip (Malaysia Cycling Trip (2002-2003) and Thailand Overseas Expedition (2004), SANA course, Police Knowledge Course, Mentoring Course, Lifesaving Course, Revolver Shoots, NDP / SYF parades, NPCC Day Parade, School Speech Day, Road Marshal Duties, Dog Unit visits, CID visits, CIP visit, Police Div visit, Visit to NPC, Court visit, Games Day, Drill Competititon, Swimming, Futsal, Bowling, Floorball, Dragonboating, Canoeing, Rock-climbing, Runs, BBQ, etc.

Our HSCNPCC Level Approach: Every level will experience different types of approach, with different activities organised for different levels according to the approach.

Sec One: Discipline & Bearing
Sec Two: Psychomotor Skills / Teambuilding
Sec Three: Leadership / Confidence Building
Sec Four: Administrative Skills / Organisational Skills
 
On Attendance: We believe in 100% attendance and absentees will be dealt with according to the school's CCA policy. R&R will be issued to those who do not come for the activities.

Our Trainers: (2004) Currently we have 5 teachers under the HSCNPCC roll. In addition to DSP Ng Tiak Kee (whose role is AC Area 8) our unit comprises of A/ASP Daniel Yong (OC), W/Insp Priscilla Goh (adjutant), W/Insp Karen Ng (training officer) and a new addition P/Insp Roy Chew (training officer). We also have W/HO Xu Yuwen (NUS), 5 CIs (Theen Mun [Chairman CI], Ghim Chew, Eugene, Kelly and Ivan) who were our ex-HSCNPCC cadets but now in various JCs and Polys, and any other helpers who were former cadets. Contact us should you need assistance.
We would like to express our gratitude to those who have left us: W/HO Seet Huilan, CI Han Weiguang (achieved Best Company Recruit in BMT) and CI Ernest Tay (currently in BMT). We are also looking forward to the joining of HI Cher Haokiang, VI Patrick Lim, HO Wu Zhongyi and P/CI Roszian in the year 2004!
